Journey to Khantis (Part Two)

[Kurohane]

Kurohane arrived in Port Dace, which she hadn't been to in some time now. She looked around the place and noticed the tavern. She walked in and was greeted by several sailors. She smiled.

"Hey everyone, how has it been?" Kurohane asked "I hope that buisiness has been booming"

"Not bad Kuro-chan" One sailor said "We just got a big haul out back, your father is getting ready to pull it out"

"Daddy's here?"

"Yeah he just got back, and he caught a big one this time, a kraken" Another sailor explained "You better go greet him"

"Ok I'll be right there"

Kurohane ran to the back finding her father, the Great Albino Werewolf Alistair, a creature whose power exceeds that even the greatest of WH, the perfect analgam of vampire and werewolf. Absolutely nothing could kill her father, not decapitation, not disintegration, the power of millions held in the hand of a single being.

"Daddy!" Kurohane yelled, running towards her father.

"Kuro-chan" Alistair said, holding his arms out.

The father and daughter hugged each other after a long absence from each other's presence.

"How has it been going my dear"

"Not too bad, I got another job, I'm to escort this man to Khantis"

"Khantis, not a bad place to make allies in" Alistair said "I would like to meet this man"

"Sure"

Kurohane and Alistair returned to meet up with Valfred, they stood together, father and daughter to greet him. However, Alistair was in Werewolf form and standing at 8'feet, he was a daunting image, he held out his hand to shake.

"Hello there, I am Alistair, I am Kurohane's father and mayor of Port Dace, a pleasure" Alistair greeted "Any friend of my daughter is a friend of mine, if you need anything just ask"

[Muzak]

Arkrius was casually smoking a cigarette in the streets as he waited for the others to arrive. He was greeted by a rather large werewolf and stared at it in disbelief.

Wait, father!? This is Kurohane's father!? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat!? He tried to make the connection in his mind and made various hand motions as well as he thought about it. ...I'll never get this supernatural beings piss poor fucking - gah! I absolutely don't fucking get it! ...wait...MAYOR!? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!? His jaw dropped when he realized that he was the mayor and shook his head in disbelief. He gave Alistar a weird look as he shook his hand.

"Riiiiiight, pleasure to meet you as well..." replied Arkrius as he blew out smoke. I'll be damned if I'm considered as a friend. By the looks of how she treats humans as food, I'll be a fucking chewtoy at best. He quickly spun on his heels and went towards the harbor.

[Kurohane]

"Excuse me where do you think you are going?" Alistair said now in human form, which was rather attractive in fact, looking like a twin of Kurohane. He held Valfred's arm with amazing force, not even a ship could force that hand to move or release. "Please do not think of me and my daughter that way, it is in our nature to devour humans, it is one of the only foods we eat that gives us sustanence, it is also within my power to read people's minds, you cannot hide anything from me boy"

"Daddy please" Kurohane tugged on Alistair's shirt.

[Muzak]

Arkrius quietly let out a low growl as Alistair grabbed onto his arm. He let out a quiet sigh almost immediately. ...damn mind readers. God fucking damn it, piss poor... His thoughts were soon filled with obscene swearing and he let out another sigh. "I'm free to think however I want. But, if you say so...whatever." He simply waited for Alistair to let go of his arm. It didn't matter to Arkrius how vampires or their nature or causes. He just simply thought as how he saw it.

[Kurohane]

"Hahahahaha!! A fine by me human, think as you wish" Alistair laughed "However..."

Suddenly a powerful pressure surrounded the area, tearing apart buildings and crumbling the ground. This pressure caused all the people of the town to collapse and knocked out due to the mere pressure. Alistair's power was unlike any other, his feeling of rage was more than enough to easily crush the town. He looked over at Valfred with his blood red, rage filled eyes.

"Do not mistake my acceptance of you as welcoming you, show disrespect of such to me again and I will make sure that you wish for death to come to you, and it shall never come"

"Father please, you are hurting the people" Kurohane tugged more

"Yes I am sorry" Alistair said regaining his composure, releasing his grip on rage and stopping the pressure. "You have been warned boy, do not come to Port Dace again after you deport, otherwise I will fufill my promise"

Alistair walked away, the ground crumbling as he stepped.

[Muzak]

Arkrius quietly laughed and quietly whistled at the destruction caused on the port. "Seems like I pissed him off quite badly. I could care less..." Yeah right, it just makes me want to come back even more. He grinned at the thought and walked off towards the harbor.

The pressure had affected Arkrius as well as he staggered with each step. ...strong as... He fell face first onto the ground. ...ah...fuck...I gotta stop pissing people off... His eyes became heavier as his body demanded rest. That...bast...ard. He fell unconscious in the middle of the street.

[Needless]

"I believe this is what you deserve when you piss off the most powerful undead creature ever recorded" Toki said with a smile on his face. "Though I must admit, despite his temper, his port has some good women"

Toki picked up Arkrius and set him down. He looked at him and inspected him for anything wrong.

"Alistair is a legend, even an army of a million dragons wouldn't dare face him, you should watch what you say, or think rather" Toki said casually "Thankfully, we are his daughters allies, otherwise he would have killed you right there"

[Muzak]

Arkrius groans as he regains consciousness. He barely heard Toki talking and only heard the last sentence. "It wouldn't have mattered, there's no one to care for about a rude basterd such as myself. I should have died long ago and I refuse to speak in a way that conflicts with my freedom of speech. " He carefully stood up and walked off towards the harbor.

The quiet clashing of the waves made Arkrius quietly sigh and he sat at the edge, allowing his feet to touch the water. ...would that be true...? No one caring for someone such as myself...? There was a tap on his shoulder and he looked behind him. Theoril was standing right behind him.

"Hey boss."
"Hey. Is the boat ready? I assume everything is prepared...?"
"Yeah. Everything is ready."
"Alright...lead the way."

He slowly stood up and lazily followed Theoril. It was a rather large boat, it looked like a war galley and Arkrius just quickly walked on the plank, into the boat and headed towards one of the cabins with Theoril. He nodded at him. "...the others should be here, organize everyone. I'm getting some sleep...I haven't had much sleep lately, maybe an hour tops. ...night." Arkrius closed the door in front of Theoril's face and he collapsed on his bed.

[Sonic]

Slade awoke in his suite in a Port Dace Inn.

Time to go to work He thought to himself

Slade got out of bed to look at it and see his waitress from the previous night. He walked over to the closet and put on his under armor and ate some breakfast. He placed his armor and weapons on the table and filled his guns full of firing cubes. He preset his weapons for the battle that was going to come. He picked up his HMWA and set it to Shredder rounds, he set the HMWP to Inferno rounds and his Predator to Snowblind. His HMWSR was set to Tungsten rounds and his HMWSG to Sledgehammer. His M-100 was switched to High Explosion. He placed his weapons on his armor back clips and his pistols on his hip clips, compacting them into smaller parts.

He put on his helmet and activated his HUD. He wore a cloak over his armor and placed a hood over his helmet, which hid his armor and weaponry from suspicious eyes. He left his suite, and a letter for his waitress. He walked along the streets of Port Dace, who had people avoiding his gaze under his red visor. He walked until he found who he was looking for, Toki Ma Jigen, wanted dead. He pulled out Predator and fired off a couple of rounds, which sprays cryogenic substance upon impact.

[Needless]

Toki noticed the man in a hood and cloak and knew that he was trouble. Toki watched as the man pulled out a gun, and instantly generated a shield. The shield was made of pure steel, but the shield suddenly began to turn brittle and break. He looked at the shield and could tell that it was his with somthing with more freezing power than liquid nitrogen. He looked at his attacker. He was covered from head to toe in armor, absolutely no openings, the metallic alloy that made the armor seemed to be able to take much more than swords and guns, he had to play this smart.

"Hey what is with the attacking, what did I ever do to you?" Toki asked with a surprised expression "Can't we talk this over?"

[Sonic]

"Sorry mate but I got a contract to fulfill, your head is worth a lot of Kyi" Slade said casually "Nothing personal, it's just business"

Slade pulled out his HMWP and began to fire off Inferno rounds at Toki, he was determined to kill him and bring his head in. He looked over to see a small over hanging sign and shot it with his HMWP, melting off the hinges and dropping the large sign on top of Toki. He then holstered his pistols and used the HUD to switch them into Tungsten Rounds. He pulled out his HMWA and fired a few Shredder Rounds, aiming for his legs.

[Needless]

Toki surround himself in metallic shields, he protected himself from the bullets, but his shields began to melt as they were hit with an incendiary liquid. Toki began to become frustrated at the fact that his defences were being eaten away.

"Chain Link"

He fired several chains that wrapped around his mysterious attacker.

"Russian Roulette, Spear Frenzy"

He summoned objects and attacked the man with both red steel spears and revolver strikes. However the Shredder Rounds ripped through his legs and took away his ability to use them. Toki looked to see the mess that was now his legs, each hole was ripped apart greviously.

(Health - 30 Mana - 65)

[Sonic]

Slade was subdued by several chains and was attacked several times. The bullets did little damage, but the spears made some significant damage. He noticed that Toki was stunned by his Shredder Rounds and decided to make a move. Slade broke out of his chains and pulled out his HMWSG and fired a few Sledgehammer Rounds, he then looked at the ship that Arkrius Wallace, his other target had entered. He remembered that he and Toki both working together.

"Let's see how your ship will fair without you" Slade challenged, he pulled out his M-100 and fired a High Explosive Round on the side of the ship, causing massive damage to the hull. He then pulled out his HMWSR and shot at Toki with Tungsten Rounds.

(Mana - 80)

[Muzak]

There was a loud rumbling noise as the shot hit the ship and most of the hull was missing. Arkrius awoke from the noise and he was about to sprint from outside when Theoril came knocking on his door.

"Boss! It's me! We're under attack."
"What!? Did you bring my equipment?"
"I only brought XIII and XII. There are two more pieces of your Razgriz repertoire left at Khantis. I had the feeling that some Witch Hunters would be here."
"Where are they?"
"Right on me."

Arkrius held out his hand and Theoril placed on the magical glove and bracer on his right hand. He grunted a little bit as a magical imprint was imprinted on his wrist. Theoril then quickly handed Arkrius, XIII. Theoril's hand briefly turned black from the mana emitting from the gun and his hand was covered in burns. Arkrius sprinted out of the boat with Theoril following a few paces behind. They jumped from the deck of the boat, onto the docks. Arkrius looked at Theoril briefly. "How's your hand? Also...you have any other boats?" asked Arkrius. "There's one more. I'll have it prepared."

Theoril sprinted off and Arkrius sprinted towards Toki. He saw the damage to his legs and he pointed XIII at the man in front of him. He fired fourteen consecutive shots at the man and he realized something was off. ...has Theoril made it so I don't need to reload? In place of missing an arm? Nice.

[Mana + 1000 for receiving XII, new mana regulator. Health - 5 from XIII, the weapon drains HP every time it is held, look under Arkrius's passive skills for health deduction.]

[Needless]

Toki created more shields but the Tungsten rounds blew right through it and hit him in the shoulder. He fell down and looked at the armored man with a cold look in his eyes.

"Looks like I can't hold back"

Toki unleashed several swords coming raining from the sky, he then let loose a massive ballista bolt at the masked man. "Ballista, Sword Rain"

"What is your name anyway?"

(Health -30 Mana - 45)

[Bells]

Shiro looked with fascination at the hairclips on sale in the shops. They weren't very fancy, with small flower designs, but she liked looking all the same. She arrived at Port Dace because of reports on two wanted men who were seen here, but decided to shop around before doing her job. Bringing the clip up above her ear, she looked into a mirror to check how it looked on her.

Wow that's so cute! Why do I have to chase a bunch of dirty guys when I could be doing this?

She smiled at her reflection, then her ears perked on hearing explosions out near the port. Shiro quickly put down the clip and stepped outside. There wasn't any visible sign of the battle where she was, so she climbed up on the rooftops to get a better look. Jumping from house to house, she ran where she thought she heard the noise and saw the few people fighting.

Let's see, there's a metal person, a really hot guy, and another without a arm. They fit the description. Let's see how this plays out.

She put on her cat mask and jumped to the side of the building, hiding in the shadows.

[Holiday]

Elena appeared behind the woman in the cat mask.

"You know the saying 'curiousity killed the cat'" Elena mused as she pulled out Oryuu and placed it beside the woman's neck. "I don't play kindly with spies, what are you here for? State your buisiness and don't move, no matter how innocent you are, I will slice your head if you make even the slightest move"

Rappa appeared in front of the woman and Cecily to her mother back, she was ready to crush the woman if needed.

[Bells]

They found me out already? Hehe...

She looked out of the corner of her eye to see the woman holding the sword to her neck. She grinned, knowing well that things were getting more interesting. "If you want to know, don't worry about me interfering, I'm just here to see things play out. In fact,...," smiling even more, "I have a proposition for you guys that'll benefit us all, but you'll have to hear me out first." She pointed to the sword, indicating that she wouldn't talk otherwise.

Wolfe had been following the group the entire time, he saw Kurohane and decided not to make any contact with Arkrius. It wasnt untill they reached port Dace where he decided it was time to show himself again. Also Wolfe had been caught up with other things...

Arkrius went attacking at the massive man covered in armor. With Arkrius missing an arm, he feared that this man could actualy kill Arkius. Wolfe could not have that, at all. With a sigh Wolfe emerged from the floor behind Arkrius and held onto his shoulder as he stopped shooting.

"Miss me Arkrius."

[Muzak]

Arkrius blinked as he felt a hand on his shoulder and heard a familiar voice. He instantly turned around to see Wolfe. "Well, well, well, nice of someone to finally show up. Where the fuck were you all this time?" He couldn't believe that Wolfe just suddenly vanished and just suddenly reappeared. Arkrius shrugged it off. "Now isn't exactly the time for this, Wolfe, we got a bit of trouble on our hands..."

Wolfe smirked "I was occupied in other matters. My apoligies Arkrius." Wolfe looked at the suited man again. "He posses a high threat to you Arkrius it would be wise if you avoid a fight with him. Im pretty sure your friend can handle himself." Wolfe got his flintlock pistol out.

"But If you realy deem him worthy of our time, then so be it. Its your call." Wolfe said pointing the gun at the metal suited man. "I could simply phase my bullets threw his armor and have them pierce his real body inside. But like I said your call."

Kira and Jean were not to far away. They stayed put as Wolfe asked them too, to avoid a giant battle. Kira on the other hand was loosing patience quickly. He wanted a real fight, here and now. Jean was simple smelling roses near by some houses.

[Sonic]

Slade dodged out of the way of the large ballista bolt, he jumped off to see several swords fly down upon him. He shot several out of the air and moved into a more favorable position. Slade activated his shield generator and blocked the swords. Slade then activated his radio array to get a better look at what was going on. He looked to see all of his enemies at the moment. Four near the boat in pairs, Toki alone, the mayor and his daughter seperated from the battle, and two more in a farther position. Another blip showed up close to Slade's position, it was a friendly marker.

"God dammit Legion, what took you so long"

"We are sorry Slade, we were preoccupied"

"With what?"

"We were getting rid of the reavers"

"Good job, I wouldn't want them to be here" Slade approved "Now I need you to hand me over the incizor, your sniper sucks ass, I also want my Tempest back, you can have your handcannon back"

"Alright"

Legion came running through the town, sliding next to Slade under cover.

"Here you go" Legion said passing the two weapons

"Thanks" Slade said, exchanging

Slade loaded his Tempest and Incisor with Tungsten rounds. He listened through his radio and heard Toki speaking, he then hacked through the sounding systems and talked through the ship announcer.

"Name's Slade Mr Jigen, I am a bounty hunter, I was looking for a job and your name was untouched" Slade answered "Hey Black Forest dude, let's see you try it, we'll see what happens when you try to get past my armor"

Slade jumped out pulling Predator and Tempest and firing several shots at Toki.

[Muzak]

Arkrius placed his hand on Wolfe's shoulder. "Leave him be. Get Elena and her children to Khantis. I myself, I'm heading off. After that, do what you can." He hands Wolfe a small magical device. "That should help you out in finding myself, it'll put things into my perspective, so it'll help you imagine the boat I'm on."

Theoril quickly sprints up to Arkrius, heavily panting. "T-the boat is ready. C-come on." He grabs Arkrius's arm and drags him to the boat. They quickly set off and Arkrius turns around, looking at the dock before the boat slowly sets off. I'll see you basterds later, that's for delaying me for so damned long.

[Holiday]

"Alright, I'll listen, but try anything and you will have to try to outrun a Kirin"

"That's right, and no one can hide from my detection ability" Cecily added

Elena lowered her sword but still had a good grip on it, an easy tactic for Elena, she would wait for even the slightest move and use Oryuu's power. Elena sat down on a crate behind her.

"Hurry up, I'm listening"
