The Forest Secret

[Xan]

Xan flew until he reached the forest where his next target could be found. He landed onto the entrance and transformed back into his original form. He looked at the entrance of the forest and walked inside.

"Time to collect the next flame" Xan said to himself.

Xan walked into the forest, he walked through the trees and began to notice that he was walking past the same trees over and over again. Xan looked from side to side and realized that he was caught in an illusion. Xan knew a way to counteract this. He took his hand and fired two fire crackers into the trees and another two where the other point he continued to cross. In theory, if he reversed where the opening was, the illusion would break. Xan walked through, and sure enough he was able to get into the next area, soon he would have to face much worse illusions.

Xan arrived in the next area, and he fell under another illusion. This time it was a flashback, to when Xan fought Kaluoshen. Xan smiled, he remembered his old partner and this illusion brought a bit of nostalgia, he hadn't met a person quite like Kaluoshen. Xan charged at the illusion head on with a lightning sword and a flame sword. Kaluoshen's illusion disappeared and reappeared behind Xan and struck at the Fire Lord with his demon sword. Xan dodged and slashed at the illusion with his lightning sword while he spun in the air. The illusion pulled out it's other sword and blocked the attack and shot at Xan, sending him flying into the trees.

"Heh, you are just as strong as he was" Xan said with a excited tone

Xan picked himself up and summoned up some of his strength and unleashed a blast of fire. The illusion absorbed the attack without any harm. But it gave Xan enough time to grab onto him and rip through his body with an Agni Schwattas.

"But you aren't as smart as he was"

Xan let the body drop and walked away deeper into the forest.

Xan reached another clearing, this time he was met with the desert sands and a lone figure standing in the middle of it. It was another person Xan had fought, and one of his greatest challenges, Draco Starkiller. Xan was started to get irritated with the illusions, but he relished at the fact of fighting Draco again. However, this wasn't Draco, nowhere near the ability of the Demon Lord of Agma Sogul. Xan ran straight for the illusion, sand began to pick up and Xan took a blast of psychic energy. He fired 6 fire crackers and the illusion blocked them with a powerful attack. Xan fired a massive stream of fire to counter the attack.

"Eat this!" Xan screamed as he summoned a fire spear and stabbed it through the illusions chest. The illusion picked up a large amount of sand and began to send it crashing onto Xan and pulling out it's lightsabers and stabbing them into Xan. "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"

Xan summoned a ball of energy into his hand, it glowed bright orange.

"HEAT EXPLOSION" Xan roared as he slammed the ball into the illusion, causing a massive explosion.

Xan arose from the explosion, a little worse for wear. He cleaned himself of and walked deeper into the forest.

Xan came upon a dark, slightly illuminated area, and he knew where he was. Xan was at his goal. In front of him was the next god flame. It wasn't an actual flame so much as a plant, the Flame Plant, it acted as a mini volcano and brought fertility in the soil which allowed barren wastelands to grow fertile forests.

"Here it is" Xan said as he reached over to grab the plant. "Wonder what this one will give me"

Suddenly a hand appeared from the darkness, grabbing onto Xan's arm and revealing itself in the light. Xan looked to see who it was, and the person brought a surprised look.

"You!!"

Xan jumped back and readied two fireballs in his hands. Xan's next illusionary test would be the worst he has faced yet. Standing before him was a historical figure, known as a salvation to all human kind. The man who stood before him was none other than the Greek Titan, Prometheus.

"I never thought I'd see you again" Xan growled fiercely.

"You are a threat to the human race Xan" Prometheus declared "I won't let you pass"

"Your love of humans brought your downfall" Xan retorted "It has brought you nothing but pain"

"Even so, you shall not get past me"

"As if you can stop me" Xan said as he pounced, flinging his fireballs, which was blocked with ease. The mighty Titan lifted a tree and swung it at Xan. Xan fired two streams of flame in an attempt to burn away the tree. But the speed of the swing was too fast to burn completely, slamming Xan in the gut and sending him flying and crashing into a tree.

"Strong I'll give you that" Xan grinned "But it is time to end this"

Xan picked himself up and ran straight for Prometheus, taking a swift blow to the face and being grabbed by the neck. Xan froze the area around him and pointed his hand at the Titan.

"DAION HADO" Xan roared as he fired his powerful beam of energy straight at Prometheus, sending him flying and causing a massive explosion.

Prometheus picked himself up out of the blast crater, greatly weakened. The Titan roared and ran straight for Xan, but now he was farther from the creator of the illusion and that much weaker. Xan made white flames form around his hand and threw a powerful haymaker straight at Prometheus's face, sending him flying into the air, flipping from the change in velocity. Xan ran up to him and punched him again before he hit the ground, which sent him crashing into a tree. Xan jumped into the air and slammed his body onto the Titan. He covered his hands in the white flames and continuously punched it, punching and punching like a madman, slamming the head deeper and deeper into the trunk. Xan changed the flames in his hands to the deep orange glow of his Agni Schwattas. He grabbed onto Prometheus's head and squeezed it, eventually causing it to explode. Xan let the body drop onto the floor.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Xan laughed maniacally "You will never defeat me, I have surpassed you, I have ridden myself of you. So long Prometheus"

Xan walked over to the Flame Plant, this time no one was going to stop him, he grabbed the plant and ripped it from the ground, devouring it whole. He felt the power rage within his body, making him feel stronger with every breath. He unleashed the power hidden within, and he slammed his palm onto the ground. The result had a a large number of trees suddenly grow from the ground at a rapid speed. The flame had given him the power to create growth in plants. Xan grinned, another strange power given to him by fire.

"Two down, eleven to go" Xan said as he transformed into his dragon form and flew into the air, heading for his next target.
