Getting new toys + working out the kinks.

Arkrius quickly arrived in front of Theoril's room. His hand went to knock on the door and then paused for a few seconds. The thought of him only having a year left was still in his mind and he shook it off. He knocked on the door with a loud thud and twisted the doorknob. "I'm coming in!" The door opened and he saw Theoril working at his desk with what appeared to be his weapons.

"I just finished the final touches on your equipment, check them out." Theoril said with a smile.

Arkrius nodded and looked over the items on the table. There was a pair of rings, a gun, a knife and multiple types of explosives. His hand quickly reached for the explosives and the detonator that came with them. He eyed it rather carefully as it looked like C4 and then back to Theoril.

"These just look like your normal, average explosives."
"Oh, but they're with arcane magic, it'll enhance the explosive radius by quite a bit. It'll also leave a medium size crater in the area, so try not to go too crazy with them."
"I like the sound of that."

He went to place the explosives in his arcane bag, however, Theoril quickly stopped him.

"I have a modification for that bag. Pass it over, also, hold out your hand.""
"...okay...?"

Arkrius handed the bag to Theoril and held out his hand. Theoril held the bag over his hand and it somehow turned into a small portal on the top of his glove. Arkrius blinked multiple times and then looked over towards Theoril.

"What'd you do?"
"I just made it so that you can quickly call out your weapons and equipment without having to go through the trouble of reaching around and finding them."
"...I see. How do I access them."
"Just simply call the name of the item you have and it'll appear in front of you."
"Alright. Let's see...cigarette."

A cigarette quickly appeared in front of him and he slowly grabbed it. He lit it and took a puff.

"I'm going to love this. Let's see the next."

His eyes then traveled towards the knife. It just looked like your average knife, however, as he went to touch it, instead of a blade, pure white flames appeared instead and it appeared rather unstable. The flame was quickly expanding and shrinking with each passing second and then the flames disappeared.

"Oh..."
"The flame is quite dangerous. It'll cause heavy burns and with enough added Arcane magic, it can cause an explosion."
"Explosion? I like the sound of that."

He sheathed the knife and then looked at the last gun. It looked rather odd, it looked like XIII. He picked it up, however, it soon split into three guns. They dropped on the floor and then he quickly socketed his bracer with the two rings. The guns soon were floating and flying around as nothing was wrong and were quickly placed into their holsters.

"Interesting. Well, then, let's test out the weapons. I want to see their firepower and destructive power..."
"I'd knew you say that, let's go to the training room. Try not to destroy it again like last time..."

[Muzak]

They had soon arrived in front of the training room and entered rather quickly. It was rather large and the walls were rather shiny and looked rather metallic. Arkrius turned his head towards Theoril and then back to the walls.

"Did they reinforce the walls with Adamantium?"
"Yeah, a lot of it too. It's hard to crack, it can withstand quite a bit. Even if you go insane and blast everything to hell and back."
"Quite durable."
"I'll start the control panel and then call in a witch so you can test out your gear."
"Alright. Of course, make it near white."
"You aren't even fully recovered!"
"I don't care, just do it."

Theoril quickly vanished and then a witch had appeared. It had already casted a spell and multiple balls of mana showered the area. Arkrius quickly took out XIII and the other guns. They all fired at once to stop the attack, however, there were too many, there had to be at least over twenty and with four magnums, they could only fire so fast. His arm, legs and chest were hit with multiple balls, all exploding on impact. The other three guns were sent all over the room. He was knocked back into one of the walls with a heavy impact and fell onto the floor. Her supporter soon materialized into the field. It appeared to be human. He quickly got back onto his feet and pointed XIII forward.

"Rain."

The attack acted like an automatic shotgun and it had covered the entire room with smoke. He looked around, with XIII held and poised. There was a sudden blur in front of him as the supporter had suddenly appeared through the smoke. It had two handguns with blades attacked to it and engaged Arkrius in close range combat. He tried everything he could to protect himself. Strike after strike, one attack was blocked with XIII while he tried to fire a shot and the other attack was barely dodged by a hair's length.

Gunshots and the clash of metal echoed through the room. Arkrius was slowly becoming more and more tired. He looked out of the corner of his eye to see multiple balls of mana fly towards him. His mind quickly dug through his mind on what he could use to defend himself, he remembered that he had his rings back and same with some more guns.

"Gunman's Advocate."

A gun quickly floated behind Arkrius.

"Arcane Wall."

It fired three white walls around himself just before the balls made contact. The explosion from the wall and the explosion from the attack amplified, and had created a lot of smoke, dust and a lot of wind. It had knocked over Arkrius and the supporter over and they simply continued off where they began, in close quarters combat. It wasn't long before Arkrius was becoming overpowered by the supporter and suffered multiple slash wounds on his arm and body. He tried to gain distance, however, was knocked back by more explosive mana and was slashed multiple times because of it. He was covered in multiple cuts and was bleeding rather heavily. The witch was teasing in the background and he quietly growled. There were multiple gunshots and he quickly dove out of the way, retailiating with his own gunshots and called up the other guns.

"Gunman's Advocate! Eat this you son of a bitch!"

He charged up each gun with mana. There were four guns and they all fired simultaniously, two of them were pointed at the supporter, the other two were pointed at the witch.

"Overdrive!"

Loud gunshots echoed through the room and multiple loud explosions shook the entire room. A thick black dust filled the entire room and there was a grunt heard and a loud thud. Arkrius had slammed into one of the walls behind him as everything around him spun and there was a loud ringing in his ears...

The entire room was covered in a dust and smoke. It had taken a while for it all to settle and the two was still standing, injured, the supporter was critically wounded while the witch was somewhat wounded. Arkrius had lost all mana with the usage of moves and was barely able to stand. All he could use was bullets and explosives, however, he only had enough bullets for one clip and two explosives at most.

He threw the explosive at the supporter, once it had made it close enough, he shot it, causing it to explode and the force behind it, knocked him off his feet and the gun was sent sliding across the cold, hard ground. Arkrius quickly got back up onto his feet and broke into a sprint for his gun. He dove for it, only to have the gun knocked away by an explosion. The gun was still fine, unscathed. He went for another sprint, and had luckily grabbed it, however, he was caught in the explosion. It had knocked him into the wall, however, during his flight, he fired the entire clip's worth of bullets, only a few had hit, and some had hit vital areas.

Theoril had quickly disengaged the training and quickly sprinted towards Arkrius's side.

"Boss! Boss! Hang in there!"

Everything suddenly turned dark as Arkrius lost consciousness...
