The train slowly came to a halt as it entered the peacefull town of illuminati, the brothel which had been destroyed stood completly fixed and ready for its buisness of pleasure of the flesh. She hoped this mission would go by smooth and fast so she could go back to her goal of these 4 hounds.

She stepped out into the bright sunlight, it blinded her for a sec. The always clean station glinstered slightly in the sun. A quite peacefull silence embrashed everyone. "WHERE THE HELL ARE THEY" Lycan stepped further on the platform and came to a halt on the spot where they all should gather, yet noone had shown up yet. "Have to wait i geussh"

The lot of twenty workers was walking in one big group around Illuminati. Up front was a blond haired man about in his thirties smoking a big cigarette while talking towards the man at his side.

"I tell ya, they'll send us some cocky basterd again, 's not like we're much of'a importance to dem."

The men break out a laughter. walking around the corner the leader of the bunch spots lycan from afar, yelling towards her with a cheerful voice.
"Hey girl, ya're the escort Witchhunt's send us? Nice ta meetya, I'm shady Orly, second-in-command of the Illuminati building company." He waved at her. "ready to get goin? Ya friends at eastern surly wanna get their stuff repaired soon, aye?"

She opened her dimensional hol and her coat and barett fell out making a small crater, she then put them on "Forgot about these" She grinned

"Well i hash one rule if anything happens don;t try to be a hero stay behind me" She stood there smiling "And i am Lycan nice ta meet ya"

Lycan followed the group ready to jump in when nessecary, if this went well she only had two days to go. Though it sounded like it would take way to long. She'd try to think of something, but for now she'd just follow cause as Inu had said she only needed to follow and protect.

The rfirst day of travel remained without any mentionable upcomings, the group had already made the first half of the way on their first day, setting up camp close to the woords. Despite the rather breathtaking speed they had to hold up thanks to their boss, most of the workers seemed good enough to start having a small party around the campfire. The food supplies they had carried along were mostly bread, a little meat, and a lot of whine. Their boss first scolded them for taking whine instead of water, but the overall mood kinda changed his mind anyway.

"cheers" shady motioned to lycan, holding up his mug. " 'n case ya want sum too, jus take it from me men. They got demselves enough for 3-4 days of travel, counts for de booze and the food, that is unless you brought yourself something on your own. HEY, GET DA LADY SOME OF DAT MEAT, AND GET A MOVE ON!"
"Gotcha boss, request declined - she can drag he fine booty here herself, that way we- GAH, uch!"

the metal pipe from earlier hit the guy yelling back.

The rest of the man began laughing into the depth of the night.

The woods clamed her down a little, for however clam Lycan could get. "Good meat, but it tashtes better when its fresh" She grinned and reached for what she thought was water. One gulp and the big pint was gone *BU~RP* "Thish taste funny" her head felt a little fuzzy but she thought it was just because she was sleepy.

A few hundred meters further away two figues lay on the floor behind the bushes, watching the scene infront.

"So you did it earlier?"
"yeah, when they were busy at the city."
"I'm all out of breath sis, how could they make it this far in one day?"
"no idea, but they won't be that active in a couple of minutes."
"and what about the that woman over there? she looks like a Witchhunter."
"What a witchhunter? thats too much for us to deal with... unless." the young girl took another look towards the campfire and especialy at lycan, who started walking oddly. "wow, i did not put a high dosage into it, just to throw them asleep."
"but this is even better sis, when we catch a witchhunter they will surely acknowlege us! We can rise in rank and be taught better magic!"

The two girls started discussing furiously while waiting for the spiked food and drinks to finaly kick in, and send all of those men into deep slumber.

Lycan was getting drunk on the 'booze' not knowing what it was she drank it like water. some of the workers seemed to be falling asleep. why this looks suspicious, mistress?
"WHAHAHAHA" Lycan was doing a weird dance hitting trees, as the trees where punched they flew into the sky. A dance truly like her, a dance of destruction. because Lycan was abit drunk her 6th sense wasn;t working that well and inu who is directly connected to them did also not notice.

"I'm not sure, she's acting strange, the liquid was only supposed to send them into a 12 hour sleep."
"But if we wait too long someone might come, we have to return soon, you know?"
"of course i doo, baka. Ok fine."

The two girls slowly went out of the bushes, waiting for lycan to come closer. In the dim moonlight their faces were illuminated - they were around 13 years at most. thy both had brown hair, one short the other around shoulderlength. Once lycan had danced close up they suddenly jumped out of the bushes.

"H-Halt! Stop r-right there Witchhunter! We are two strong witches, wield to us a-and you will stay alive!" The bigger one mumbled out, holding a small cermonial dagger in her hand pointed at lycan. the other girl stood slightly behind her, a book in her hand, chanting a spell silently.

"Elssef eniem rengeg, illuminated lariat!" a shiny rope originated from her hand towards lycan, binding around lycan. However, the chant wasn't done properly, and barely restrained lycan.

Lycan stopped dancing and a shinny rope entangled her....sort of. She looked at the girl with the dagger "HOW CUTE~" her eyes sparkledat the sight of the girl, as she made one step forward it seemed as she tripped she made a roll in the process cutting the rope at her back, then as she tried to stand back up she rammed her head full speed into the gut of the witch with the knife "WOOPSIE" She grinned abit. Her eyes averted to the second witch "Ow another one" she flinged her hand towards the witch but accedently closed her hand to fast making a strong punch towards the witches face.

"Ah, that hurt." Lyre whined, she sat on the floor, the dagger sticking in the mud next to her. "Do something Lethe, do a stronger spell." she comanded at her sister. Lethe had tears in her eyes, after all she was not all that used to pain.
"B-But that is the only spell i can realy chant."
"Then do something bigger, just do it." Lyre picked up the dagger at her side runing towards lycan, apparently she had her eyes closed during her charge.

Lethe on the other hand flipped through the pages, going towards the end. She looked puzzled at all the diffrent summoning sequences until she stumbled about a seemingly simple one.

"um... ennerb ni nednehol nemmalf... erm,... eiretam uz ehcsa, ehcsa uz buats... In-Incineration!" she read out, holding her hand upwards.
Suddenly a big fireball was levitating above her, she stared at it in awe.

Lycan was feeling woosy from the booze and there had to have been something strange in the drin cause she was starting to feel sleepy, as the witch with the knife charged Lycan twirled around and around. her right hand grabbed behind the charging witch's head and threw her a couple of yards forward. when she came to halt she saw the flying ball above the second witch's head "Ow~ shinny" She walked towards it but before she reached she started to loose consiousness and she fell asleep but as she tumbled over she took the second witch with her and Lycan layed ontop of the witch.

"WAAAAH!" Lethe was tackled down by lycan, who was now resting ontop of her. Their faces were mere milimeters apart, and she was pretty much stunned right now, tears in her eyes out of fear.

Lyre was kneeling beside the two, trying to push lycan off her sister, she aswell had tears in her eyes, but rather because of the pain than fear. She had stumbled as lycan had thrown her to the ground, she had let go of the dagger who had wounder her left shoulder.

"Get off my sister, hey! we will go away if you do that, please." she was pleading lycan, even though she noticed lycan had closed her eyes. Her sister remained silent, despite the weight on her she held out quite well, even though it had started to take a toll on her. The fireball from earlier had dissolved into thin air while she was tackled down.
Obviously the two sisters were harmless, not that they had been of great harm from the start. The witch that had picked the two up had abandoned them as she deemed them worthless longer ago, the two had taken the innitiative to regain her attention by obstructing the rebuilding of the Witchhunters' eastern Headquaters by stealing from the builders.

A strange glow of blue mana was emenating from lycan and she stood back up, she opened her eyes and her drimson pupils had changed to blue. "Very well it seems mistress has taken it to far, i say she is as troubesom as her father. Well then it seems we have some troublemakers "Since the last fight inu had gained the control of lycan;s mana empowering when he was using her body. He picked them both up by the collar and looked at them "Why are you attacking us?" Inu looked at them in the eyes going from the one to the other.

"Let go of me and my sister you- you ... booby lady!" Lyre called out, pointing at lycan. She tried kicking lycan/inugami against the chest, but somehow failed miserably.
"I..I ...I don't want to go to alchatraz, i'm scared..." Lethe was crying while looking apologetic.
"You just made my sister cry you.. you bad guy! I will get you back for hurting my sister - Flare!" Lyre starting conjuring up a spell, but she entirely messed it up, blowing only herself up into a small smokescreen, but having inugami surprised for a moment and letting go.

*caughcaugh* "now i got you - Flare" she blew herself up right again.
"Siiisteeer... please stop it, i don't want us to go to alchatraz. I'm sca-a-a-red" she whined the last bit.
"No way, i will fight, so that Miss Lavenga will finaly acknowledge our existence!"
"B-But i don't care about Lavenga anymore, i want to go home."

on that response Lyre went silent for a moment, then suddenly looked back towards lycan/inugami.
"Ok, you get a last chance, let go of my sister and i won't turn you intoa puddle of ashes." the threat might have landed better if she had a straight face during saying it, not that there was anything behind the threat aside from hot air anyway.

*sigh* this obstinent behaviour it feels just like the old days when i tried to raise mistress. Inu felt abit nostalgic as the witch blew her self up for a second time. "As for that alcatraz thingy you keep mentioning, i have no idea what it is. Even if i did i have no intentious to make a detour just to get you there." he put the other one down next to her sister. "Now it seems mistress has taken an interest in you so follow me to the fire over there, he pointed at the party place. "I'll get you some food aswell, I am Inugami at the moment i am using mistress's body as she is resting" he started walking over to the fire place but took one look back with a clearly noticable killing intent if they made one wrong move.

"Grrrr.... hey lethe, the moment he is distracted we make a run for it."
"B-But what if he follows. She is scary, i don't like scary things."

The two witches sat back up, following slowly, Lethe totaly hidden behind Lyre who was swetting a lot.
"I bet she is playing dumb on us, everyone knows of alchatraz - she is a Witchhunter, she has to send us there. That is unless she wants to devour us herself."
Lethe shrieked up -"AAAH, I don't want to be eaten!" She hugged her sister from behind, who reacted by patting her head.
"Not that kind eating. though i can't tell with this thing."

Both slowly walked closer.
"What do you want from us, booby lady." Lyre asked. She tried looking confident.

Inu heard all they said, the benefit of having heightend senses. i really do wnder what this alcatraz is, they seem so scared of it he sat led the two to the fire and handed them some bread as he sat down. "Do not worry mistress was careless and dodn;t check for your.....suprise, but i did this food is save" Inu smiled friendly. "Now what is it you girls where looking for?" he was a bit worried, something like a father feeling he developed through raising lycan.

"and there is no need to worry i do not eat humans" anymore he grinned

A short silence, then the sound of a growling belly from lyre's direction. she blushed but said nothing. Surprisingly, Lethe finaly decided to speak, she felt intimidated by the 'booby lady' infront of them, especialy with the kind of talking lately.

"We just wanted to take some of this stuff" she pointed at the belongings of the workers "and bring it to lady Lavenga, so she cares for us again. She saved us the day that our hometown was burnt down, and taught us, but then she suddenly stopped seeing us. We want her to see us again." She grabbed the bread out of Inu's hand and nibbled at it.

"Wh-what are you telling the booby lady, thats nothing she has to know!" she made wird growling noises again and held her stomache with a face of slight pain. She was determined not to wield to her opponent, even though she hadn't eaten for at least a day.

Inu tried to think why she would leave them in the first place one leaves their young ones when they are ready to survive on their own Inu looked at the two That witch must have really bad judgement or they have been thrown away "Would it not be better to use your powers towards better goals? not that i disapprove of the live of bandits. Yet i have heard of some witches who were not really strong and were caught by a army sqaudron. Burned at the stakes while people threw rotten fruit and vegetables at them." Inu had seen it before during one of the rare trips with his former owner, they had tried to stop it but it was to late. He told this to try to shocked them and show them the reality. "There is not yet a way the acertain witches from normal anti-mages so if you keep a low profile you might actually survive, yet you are welcome to travel with us but if you do you need to give me your hats for safe keeping" Inu gave a friendly non-hostile smile.

Both of them started to back away when Inu had started to tell his story, they had a frightened face as he had told them about what happened to other witches.
But then suddenly Lyre shook herself out of it and started talking back at Inu.

"I don't care what they can do to us, I will protect my sister, and to get stronger i have to ... i will...." she stumbledd over her own words, it was not that she lacked the spirit, but to tell the truth she had no idea what to do. She clung to her hat now even she had slight tears in her eyes.
Lethe suddenly held the loaf of bread to her, she grabbed it and took deep bite out of it.

"How would we know that we would not suffer a similar fate if we follwo you, any human looks down upon a witch, Anti-mages are not a big diffrence, what does magic and is female has to be a witch. Whom else could we follow if not other witches, even if that means we have to do bad stuff..." Lethe said, she seemed older than she looked the moment she explained their situation to inu. she looked slightly down.

Still in reach of the sound of their voices, so he could hear them speak.

Lyre leaned agains Lethe's shoulder - she might have been acting tough all along, but Lethe had allways been the stronger of the two, not only in magic, but also in a matter of psychological strength.
The leaned against another and almost immeadiatly fell asleep.

What would be happening tommorow was unsure, possibly they would be looked at oddly, maybe they would be chased away - and those two were the two best versions. Tommorow would show...

Whilst the camp itself was now finaly at slumber, another figure - about 1,70 to 1,80 in size - was running through the forest, not a witch, only a woman in a long dress. she was searching and fleeing at once.

'I have to find those two, oh i hope she has not yet noticed that i left - how could those two dumb girls just take the stuff from my desk and make a run for it, what are they trying to prove?'

Inu smiled as the two slowly fell asleep and inu sharpened his senses to keep a look out, this felt the same as years ago taking care of a small girl in the wilderness, danger at every turn, keep yourself save but those around you too. "The good old days". the moon was hanging in the sky, Inu always had the feeling that when he looked at it that it was always full. The night started to pass as time passed. At daybreak they should be waking up or atleast Lycan would, when eating many toxic plants as a child she build up some resistance and most herbs last not as long on her.
